ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE UPCOMING FARM BARTER FAIRE: Anyone whose rabbits have been North of the City of Burlington is being asked not to bring rabbits to the event. This is an on-your-honor request, but anyone caught disobeying this request will be banned from all future events as well as this group. For those who do not know there is a very contagious rabbit hemorrhagic virus on the rampage right now, and we are participating in a voluntary quarantine and not taking rabbits outside of the QT area. While there is no evidence that the virus has spread as far as Burlington, we aren't taking any risks with all of our hard work and all of the money I have put into my rabbits. As you may know, part of the event is hosted in the building where my rabbits are being kept, and so I urge you not to expose my rabbits to any potential threats. Thank you for your consideration. The location may move based on evidence of the virus spreading.
Please note that Edelweiss Ranch & Rabbitry and sister locations are working farms. This means animals- both furred and feathered- smells, and even occasionally poo will be found around the property. The main space at Edelweiss Ranch & Rabbitry is a barn which sometimes shares space with livestock and poultry.
Because these are technically private events, all participants must be a member of the PNW Farm Barter Faire Networking and Classifieds Facebook Group and/or a guest of a member. It's free to join. If you are not a member of Facebook and would like to be a member our our group, please contact us and we will put you on an e-mail list for updates. All participants are considered members of the group. A participant is any member who attends this event other than staff. This includes but is not limited to anyone coming to offer items and services, anyone coming to shop or browse items and services, and/or any guests and/or minors they bring with them.
