Raffle & Fundraising

It's really, really important to me that my events are free to vendors and shoppers, but it's inevitable that there are costs and expenses associated with running these events. From making copies, printing off paperwork, laminating signs, much needed equipment, raffle tickets, garbage bags (plus disposing of the garbage) and emptying the portapotty, to little things like toilet paper and utilities used for the event, there's just no way to run this without spending money. To that end, we ask that vendors donate prizes for the raffle that we host at each event. The raffle helps to cover any costs and expenses that we accumulate.

Donating raffle items is completely voluntary, of course. For every item a vendor donates, they get three raffle tickets to enter the raffle.

If you are able to donate one or more prizes for the raffle, take advantage of the opportunity to advertise your business or farm. Brand yourself! Jazz up the prize a bit, include a business card or a little handwritten note, and be sure to give a contact method so that raffle winners can contact you again later to get more of what they won, if you are willing to offer more.

Gently used items that you no longer have a use for are acceptable, as are hatching eggs, live plants and live animals.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN! The raffle starts right about 2:00 at each of our events. Tickets may be purchased at the information table.
