PNW Farm Barter Faire/Edelweiss Ranch events: Bethel School District: Community Service Volunteers

We love to have local students (and not local for that matter!) come help out at our events to earn community service hours. There are a million little tasks that we can use help with the day of our events from directing parking to helping vendors set up. Each event is up to 8 hours of volunteering- beginning at 8:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm after complete tear down and clean up. We currently host 3 events a year at our farm in Graham and might be able to accommodate volunteers at other dates and locations. Some of the tasks students can help with are:
  • Gate greeter: greet guests at the open gate and direct them where to head for parking, etc
  • Parking directors: at least two people who direct parking
  • Runners: at least two people to run errands and take care of on-the-fly tasks
  • Info desk: someone trusted who can sell raffle tickets and be the point of contact for questions
  • Helpers: people who can help vendors unload and set up
Please contact us at FarmBarterFaire@gmail.com to make arrangements for students to volunteer.
